Teodora Bakardzhieva

Teodora Bakardzhieva is the On Premise Key Accounts Manager for Horizon Beverage.  Exceling in this role for the past three years, Teodora serves as the main point of contact for strategic and national accounts, enhancing programming, providing the highest quality of service, and growing long term partnerships.  Prior to this role, Teodora was a sales representative in Boston for four years in the Stealth division, cultivating lasting relationships with renowned Boston buyers and showcasing the full spirits and wine portfolio in the metropolitan market. Over the last several years, Teodora has participated in a number of women’s leadership programs in the alcoholic beverage industry.  She sits on the Board of Advisors for the Horizon Beverage Women in Leadership Group and is integral to the planning and execution of professional development activities.  She is active in Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America, participating in the Women’s Leadership Council Mentorship Program, which has allowed her to build upon her existing strengths and gain new skills to mentor colleagues in the organization and at Horizon Beverage.  Teodora also studies in the Wines & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) program and recently completed her Level 2 certification, passing with distinction. Before joining Horizon Beverage, Teodora was the Beverage Director at Boston’s Revere Hotel; overseeing a thriving bar scene, and bringing prestige to the city’s premier rooftop bar and lounge.  Teodora has an extensive background in beverage hospitality and nightlife, and was the first female to preside behind the bar at Boston’s landmark venue Locke-Ober.  In her free time, Teodora and her husband own and operate several outstanding restaurants in New England.  They love to travel domestically and internationally, and spend time with their puppy Louis.
